.................................Australia!!! Love it. Takes a while to get back in the swing of western lifestyle though.. we still look pretty trampy and like we're at the beach, dodgy vests boardies crap hair and flip flops, but i did have a shave!! First thing we had 2 guys walk past us in the main haigh street of Brisbane, smiling and staring at us, then saying 'looking great guys.... :)'.... well weird. vernon was wearing bright purple boardies though and I was wearing my crazy red n white ones with a completely unmatching blue and yellow vest. Or maybe they just fancied us. Bladdy queer aussies. So anyway, first day here was a complete right-off, as we seriously hadnt slept in about 3 days, maybe a few hours on the plane thats it. So we checked in to an old favourite hostel of mine, city backpackers on Roma St, near the aiport train and near to the city on the river. Place has a cool paddy bar and pool too. We are staying in a 36 bed downstairs sweatbox dorm room for 19$ (9quid) which is a FAR FAR cry from our 2quid double bed single rooms with en suite and free breakfast Bali rooms... Its fine tho, gota get back into the backpacker swing of things. Woke up after all day sleep at 9pm, went into town, quick check on the footy scores and a filthy kebab, then slept again til 12midday today!! all fresh now, ready to get on with travelling. Booked our whitsundays tour, phoned bro joshy and hes booked onto the same one too, gona be fun!! flying up to whitsundays tomorrow, yeh i know, pimpin it a bit, but its the same price as the bus, exactly the same!! no wonder the ice caps are melting. So for the rest of today we are gona blitz the photos up, although we are unable to recover the two memory cards that were corrupted in thialand and bali.. but have plenty more to put up. Hopefully can fix the 'write protect' problem once back home.

Tonight we're gona meet up with Josh's girl Charlotte and her friend Helen, go for a beer, then wake up and check out by 10, and fly up to the Whitsundays, night out in Airlie Beach, then Sailing the Whitsundays on wednesday, then 2 nights on an island there, then flying back on Saturday, before leaving for Byron Bay.
