Happy Valentines Day! Slightly different that your usual romantic meal etc, we woke up at half ten and met up with a surf instructor i got chatting on the beach yesterday. he picked us up in the shown truck above, absolute beast, great fun! felt really cool lol. boards on top and inside, we picked up another guy, and drove to the south side beach. the wind was a perfect north west and the surf was impeccable! after unloading all the boards for the surf school he has in the afternoons, i went straight for the water. decided not to fork out on the wetsuit, and found i didnt really need one. caught some absolute beauts, just wish they couldv been recorded on video! gona try hard this week to get a great action photo or video.

the sun was shining all day long and the vibe was awesome, we based ourselves infront of the beach bar, which played greattunes all day long, like jack johnson, foo fighters, blink, and of course this being south america the odd power ballad! i got pretty scorched yesterday whilst we were exploring, and asked vernon to slap on 30 on my back all day, it looked like i had a white tshirt on lol. did the trick, back to brown now and no burnage. we hardly ate all day, just snaked on some old school vanilla sugary sponge fingers that you seem only to be able to buy the duty free at calais. played lots of footy with the argies, and caught up on some kip in between surfs. all round, a fantastic day!!!!

ah yeh, and after speaking to the surf guy martin the other guy (hard name), we have decided to move into his house for the whole of next week! its much closer to the surf beach we wana spend every day at, and alot quieter. this hostel is a nightmare, apart from the ESPN for the footy, and free internet, it sucks big time. we have stinking isreals in our room, who are constantly, constantly shouting and screaming in their dirty language which sounds like and horse coughing up blood. and the 10 man dorm is attached to the lounge, so theirs people coming and going, partying and shouting in spanish 24/7, which really pissed us off last night and things got a little heated in the room but we wont talk about that lol. woke up, gave some evils and left. lookin forward to moving to his house, its in a really nice traditional looknig neighbourhood, and we have a nice annex house in his garden with kitchen bathroom and most importantly, SOUND SYSTEM!! we will be playing music constantly. never realised how much we rely on our mp3 players, its so important when travelling! the road is really quiet, so we will get an early night every night and spend the whole day every day with the argies surfing and sunning and generally getting away from the travelling route and living like the beach bum locals!! good times.

this weekend before we move to the beach, will be mostly spent sunbathing at the city beach, drinking cheap wine and watching the FA Cup!!!
