Hi all,
Second update from LA.... After a really early night, we got up early on day two to brillant sunshine and so drove to Universal Studios which was fantastic. We literally walked through the gates to get in with no queuing at all (for those of you who know Matt - he hates queuing so this was a real result!!)

The first thing we did was the studio tour which was amazing, we saw the sets from loads of films like War of the World, Jurassic Park and Jaws. We also saw the set of Desperate House Wives which they were filimg whilst we were there, although we didn't see anyone famous!! We then hit the rides which were really good and again no queuing at all! We were really shattered when we got home and jet lag was still causing us problems so we had another early night.

Final day in LA, again the sun was out which was great, so we drove up to Hollywood Blv to see the Avenue of the Stars and Mann's Chinese Theatre show, took loads of photos and compared our foot and hand prints to those of the stars - Doris Day and George Clooney!! We headed to the Farmers Market for lunch, this is like a shopping area in Disneyland, or as Matt described it - like the Truman Show! We had a look around and then found an under cover area full of stalls serving food - slightly surreal as it felt like we were in the middle of Albert Square suddenly!!

Our time in LA was then coming to an end as our flight for Hawaii (via Portland) was at 7am the following morning - update from Hawaii to follow...
