HI everyone,
Just a quick update to keep you in the loop!!! We did our seal swim in Kaikoura and it was awesome they really did swim with you chasing you and lookig at us in the water on of the main heightlights so far! We then headed up Abel tasman but the weather was awful the rain was so heavy the roads were collapsing but we made it through safely and found a campsite that we could hide out in till the weather improved. next day we woke up to beautiful sunshine and decided to do a walk along the abel tasman track it was amazing there were little waterfalls along the way and we managed to walk to a place called apple tree bay and it was unbelievable looked like a beach in thailand. Next it was up to Picton for a stopoff before we got the ferry to the North Island. Picton was a really pretty little town and to Matts joy we found an Irish pub serving draught Guinness and serving up Boiled Bacn, cabbage and mash his favourite. Ang you will need to stock up on that for when we get back!!!!
So thats brings us to arriving to wellington and staying with Hobags family Ken and Lynette two of the most lovely people ever. They have a lovely house overlooking Wellington that is only a stones throw from about twenty bars so its pretty good. We are loving Wellington its a beautiful city that has a gorgeous sea front lined with trendy bars and cafes. The museum was worth a visit only wish we had Cam and Em with us as they would have loved it. One more night and then off to find some more death defying activities to keep us occupied for a few days.
