As usual i know ive left it a long time and got a lot to tell u about but if im honest i really cant be bothered because these bloody internet cafes are starting to do my head in so im just going to skim across whats been going on, afetr La Paz we headed to salar de uyuni these are the largest salt flats in the world and for one night we would be staying in a hote lon the flats made completely of salt which was cool we went across the flats in 4x4´s and visited a place in the middle called fish island which was like being on another planet i got really sick here tho and had a mad fever erin and the guide thought id got malaria but dont worry team im powered through and got better within the week malaria couldnt keep me down because all the best stuff was still to come! Potosi was our next stop it was just a sort of little town that used to be big years ago due to silver mining there it was pretty boring so next day we headed to the real capital of bolivia Sucre! Sucre was beautiful full of old buildings and plazas and set in a valley surrounded by mountains for the next few days we just wondered the city and chilled out it was really nice on the last day i went to the pub to watch liverpool beat chelsea 2-0 it made my day couldnt smile wide enough after that result! Next we went to Santa Cruz it was nice town on the border of bolivia and brazil, we had a nice night out there and next morning crossed another border to enter brazil to a town called puerto suarez which is where our three day Pantanal excersion would start from afetr a stop in corumba! The Pantanal is a huge wetland/jungle region which is nearly as big as germany and full of wildlife when we arrived at our lodge we were greeted by howler monkeys and loads of different birds and reptiles just wondering around it was crazy over the next few days we did boat trips to see caiman and monkeys and capybara the worlds largest rodent and also went fishing for piranhas we caught a few of the little suckers using steak, the pantanal was great so much wildlife! Oh yeah i forgot to say one day we went horse back riding through the pantanal aswell which was really good because id never done that before. Next day we went to bonito it was a nice town we were here to do a day long snorkelling trip down the rio de prata river its the best place in the world to do freash water snorkelling thewater was crystal clear and the amount of fish in the river was unbelievable some of them were as big as erin, it was a really good trip to do together on our two year anniversary!! That night we went out to celebrate with a few coldies! Our next stop was assuncion which is the capital of Paraguay, this place was a hole and it smelt like a hole too a bumhole that is! Maybe thats why its called ASSuncion, we had two days here god knows why because there was nothing too see or do so we drowned out the pain with alcohol, defo not one of our highlights!! Next was the big one, what we had been waiting for, we headed to Iguassu Falls, on our first day there we went to the brazilian side of the falls it has got to be the most amazing sight u can find i think in the world just the sheer noise the falls make and the size of them is unbelievable, we took so many pictures but none of them do it any justice we spent hours walking around to various viewing platforms just taking the falls in, what an amazing day! Next day got even better once more we passed through another border control and entered Argentina to see Iguassu in all its glory this side is the best because you can get so close to the falls and even as we did, got a jetboat into the falls itself the speedboad took us right underneath some of the waterfalls the noise and the power was unreal and we got completetly drenched but it was so worth it! We also visited the devils throat which is the most powerfull and amazing part of all the falls the roar is deafening, not much else to say but Iguassu was another one of those place like Macchu Picchu that u just cant belive u have seen!!!! Today we arrived in Curitiba it a really nice here lots of old buildings and hardly a tourist in sight, we head to Sao Paulo in the morning one of the worlds largest citys, cant belive our year is nearly over!
