After a decent nights sleep on the train we spent our last day in Egypt back in Cairo.
The Cairo Museum may not rank up there with The Louvre or the British Museum in the architectural department, but what's inside is truly unique.
King Tutankhamen's treasures are as breathtaking as they are extensive, and they are extensive.
Unfortunately there is a strict no camera policy in the museum, so no photos for me. They also check your bag on the way out in case someone decides they need a souvenir.
Tahir Square and the government offices are literally a few metres away and when they were burnt down last January, the museum was under serious threat by fire, luckily no damage was done.
We also went to a perfumery and a local market to fill in the whole Cairo experience.
Looking forward to Barcelona tomorrow, Egypt was great but I'm looking forward to doing our own thing for a bit.
