Hello all!

Well I have arrived in Kathmandu, but not without some problems! First off, Delhi is horrible and I will never go back there again after I leave Nepal even if someone paid me. There airport is absolute rubbish and they dont let you into the terminal until 2 hours before your flight, so i had to wait in a little room with about 500 indians shouting and screaming for 10 hours.

After I got my flight to Nepal, my card had been blocked by Natwest already so I couldnt get any Nepali rupees out to pay for my visa, thankfully other people were in a similar situation and we managed to sort something out. Even so, Natwest - I hate you. So I've got to phone them which I'll do tomorrow to get them to unblock my card so I can start withdrawing the money I NEED TO SURVIVE.

Next, I was picked up and driven to my guesthouse where I have met some cool people who are also volunteering with me and so I have just chilled for the past couple of days. The rooms in the guesthouse are pretty cold, nowhere has any heating and the beds are just blankets on top of board! Also Nepal has a load boarding policy, which means that they only have electricity for 6 hours a day and that is from 10am-12pm and 8pm-12am, so all the foreigners struggle with that!

Not really taken any pics yet, Kathmandu is the meaning of the word crazy, so have just really waited till met some people to go out looking around and to take pics with. The internet is really slow here in the guesthouse, so I doubt I'll be able to upload any pics, but hopefully I'll be able to in Hong Kong or Singapore.

Anyway, that's all for now for probably a week or so and then I'll post some more stuff. I have access to email so if anyone wants to drop me a message it would be nice to hear from you. Speak to you all soon!
