So have packed a bit of travel and relaxation all into the last few days. Taking drives radiating out from Colac. Today was the 12 Apostles, LochArd gorge and the Gibson steps...... This was after purchasing ,a heart attacks worth of cheese from the Apostle whey cheese company. We stopped off and tasted 12 of their fantabulous cheeses....... So the trip over Bass strait was really a schoolwork day.... Then we collected a happier dog ( he was allowed to stay in the car, after we signed his life away) Off then to spend a night at Geelong Showgrounds, a very late setup in the dark with a hot shower at the end. Off in the morning for the Great Ocean rd- one of the best drives around. Decided to go straight to Colac where we are to be based for Easter, to regroup, do lots of laundry and freshen up........

Jen and Petes, so good to see them Dylan and Sammy had grown up since we last saw them, I suppose they would say the same of Spencer. Fabulous time here, with the boys really being fabulous with Spencer. Cricket machine put to great use. Watched Sammy play in his grand final at Sommerville ( lost but he played well) lots of food,wine and laughs to be had and it all ended too soon with our deadline of the boat to Tas.

Arrived at Ems, Rosebud, and Em and the kids had a day off for us. Very hot day, she took us a tour is the peninsula and off to Flinders beach. Fish and chips in Flinders then back home to relax. The kids had fun with slip and slide and all was good in the world. Next day spent shopping ,jumping off Rosebud pier with the largest stingrays I have ever seen....... Jonesy was on pizza duty (anyone that has had one knows how good it is) all fabulous.

So Jonah was up 4 am and ready to go...... Left for the drive in and a very dark car park ( needed miners gear) off he went I think he possibly made the record books if there is such a thing because he was back at camp by 1:30 pm very sore in the leg department. We looked after him food and drinks and he was asleep by 7:30pm. All good today will be looking for a beach to relax at.
