So we turned up to Col and Davio's place about 2:30pm on Tuesday. So good to see them both. Col was putting the finishing touches to a birthday cake. We all had a fabulous dinner-Coffin bay oysters(the best) lamb cutlets- something we haven't had for a while , special salads(Greek cabbage)
Spinach salad with pine nuts with semi dried tomatoes with cider and apricot dressing...... Finished off with a Nigella Lawson chocolate olive oil cake.
Col has taken us on some fabulous walks, Chambers gully to look for koalas of which we saw a plenty in the wild. Great for Spencer to see as soon as we got out of the car, pretty much first tree.
Today we put the car in for a wheel alignment close to the CBD, so we all went on a little tour to Adelaide oval past the zoo and botanical gardens...... Then went via Rundle Mall (home of the 2 silver balls) Adelaide love a sculpture and a statue they seem to be everywhere.What a voyeurs paradise....... An odd eclectic bunch.
Spencer is finishing up his schoolwork for a little reprieve,up in the Flinders ranges after here.
The car has been serviced the dog has been to the vet (no problems just vaccinations)and we are just lapping up our time with friends. It's good to know you have a visual on their whereabouts.
