Today we went to the Forbidden City which is forbidden because for 500 years the scuzzy public were not allowed in and if you went in uninvited you had your head chopped off. Nowadays you dont need an invite any waifs or strays can go in (well if you pay anyway). We went in through the North gate which we were pretty pleased about as we strolled right in where as if you went in from the south you had to queue for hours so we were chuffed with ourselves from the off. We got an audio guide which was rubbish so just went on our own tour. The place is nice but again totally busy with people. We then went to Tiananmen square which is the worlds largest public square and where Maos body lives.
In the evening we went to the Red Theatre to watch the best Kung Fu show ever. What is there to say it was awesome we saw people breaking things with their heads, dancing on ropes, people held up by spears, people lying on swords all in all a fun night out and we got our pictures taken with the dudes.
