The first thing I would like to say about Paris is that I am sure glad we went to the Eiffel Tower on Thursday morning. When we got there the lines were fairly good and reasonable but by the time we left at about 12:30 it was CRAZY! They're are so many people everywhere all the time. On the first full day we were there we saw Paris from the top of the Eiffel Tower, which is an incredible building which allows you to see city for miles. After that we went to the arch de triumph and saw an American family attempt to get across the round about to the arch which is NOT recommended. (Guide books state that crossing that round about can end in certain death) The traffic is crazy. As we walked down the boulevard St Germain we saw a formula 1 car in the window of a an expensive car store as well as a place were you pay 89 euros to drive a Ferrari. Deposits the fact that most people can not afford to shop on that street it was very crowded. Pretty much the only thing to mention about Friday is that WE SAW THE MONA LISA!!!! As well as lots of ancient artifacts from the Louvre, as well as a very nice art gallery with a huge monet painting and the Eiffel Tower lit up at night. On the final day we walked around some of the fancy shopping streets and window shopped. Paris was a incredibly cool place and I will definitely miss it.
