We loved Yellowstone Park. Lots of really unusual things to see. Geyser's including old Faithful, underground steam pots, bubbling beds. There were warnings everywhere not to stray off the trails as the earth's crust in spots couldn't sustain your weight and you could cause a steam blast. The steam was HOT, scalding in fact, fortunately we couldn't get close enough to get hurt.

The only thing that was disappointing was the fact that the park is still recovering from that mega fire back in 1988. The new growth is finally starting to look beautiful again, but all the ugly burnt skeletons remain.
