We arrived in Dalat at tea time and had a stroll around the city. Dalat is in the central highlands and has many evergreen forests and gardens. We arrived in Ho Chi Minh City after a 7 hour bus trip from Cambodia. After checking into a hotel we headed to book some buses and trains for the next leg of our journey. We were shocked at how expensive the train tickets were though, and quickly left when the lady told us they were 160 pounds each! We had been so used to everything being so cheap! We headed into the city to see the An Dong market and to get our bearings - the prices here were pretty steep too.....

We arrived back in Phnom Penh after an interesting bus journey from Sihanoukville! Our bus kept breaking down, so all the men had to get off and push the bus, in order for the driver to kick start the engine! Which we found hilarious, especially when the second time it happened we were in the middle of a busy intersection. The driver sounded like he was yodalling, as his voice kept waivering in a high pitched tone, the more angry he got! Hee hee! We are here for...

We left Kampot in a shared taxi, which was very cheap...but we soon realised why! There were 3 people in the front and 4 people in the back of the car! Luckily the road was good and it was a relatively short trip, but they certainly like to pack 'um in here! We even saw one car that was so full, the driver was sat on someones knee! But it's all part of the fun, I guess! We had a really lazy couple of days in Sihanoukville, we even slept past 9am one day! Woo hoo...
