We finally arrived back in the UK after lots of delays from New York. We were met by Mum, Dad, Joy and Rob at Heathrow airport. After saying our hellos it was time to head home on a dreary Monday morning in England, after 7 months travelling. Holly took the car with Mum, Dad and Joy and Laura went back with Rob - Laura thought she had ma…

We are now back in the UK after a fantastic 7 months touring the world; from the rice boat in India, the fantastic food of Thailand, the temples of Cambodia, the Chinese Junk Boat in Vietnam to sunrise at Ayers Rock, caving and glacier climbing in New Zealand, hiking the Inca Trail in Peru, listening to the music of Salvador in Brazil and seeing Graceland in the USA. We have had the most amazing experience of our lives!

Hi Laura, I've been checking your progress every now & then (when work permits - yeah, like that would get in the way!). I do envy what you've done & where you've been.
Sue left CH two weeks ago - just handed her notice in, think she'd just had enough. She hasn't got a job yet, but is in France so she'll probably have a look round when she gets back.
From other messages it looks like you'll be home soon. I bet it'll be a bit of a shock to the system once the delight of seeing family & friends wears off. Back to reality!!!!
Enjoy the rest of you holiday - do all the touristy things. Take care in th 'Big Apple' and hope to see you when you get back.

Hola Mapp Sisters.....
We are loving your adventures and you are becoming quite the travel writers. We are in Ecuador right now and headed for Peru. We might mooch (steal) your itinerary a bit as it looked really fun and half the stress of travelling is putting all the dates and places together. It looks like you are headed to Vegas, one of America´s contribution to the degradation of society. HAHA! Just remember hold on 17, drink when not playing cards, and if you want to drink and play cards go for Pai Gao Poker!!! Have fun and don´t miss the clubs....the people watching is classic. Keep up your safe adventures and, of course, stay away from Greyhound!!
Rob
Morning ladies,
I hope you are resting this week? Its going to be really hot in vegas so we'll need to drink lots of fluids to keep us cool!!!! hic hic!
See you Saturday
Love you

Back home in very sunny Shirland, trying to catch up on what I've missed whilst I've been away. Nearly as good as my ten day trip (!), just sounds more exhausting . Have just spoken to Margie who says she should have warned you - Never trust a Texan - especially a teacher ! ! ! Carry on having fun and making memories and I'll send YOU a sunset from Canada (just as soon as we can download them )
Love to you both from us both here x x

Loved your journey through South America, wish I could have been there with you. John was very impressed with your fishing technique, think you could give him some tips! On countdown now girls but still lots more to enjoy, hope you get lucky in Vegas, don't let Rob go too mad at the tables!! Looking forward to your homecoming, much love to you both xx

Just hi from me in Canada. Rachel and Margie say Hi too !
Sounds as thought you've been having fun again - not too sure about the under age drinking Holly.
Enjoy the last few weeks.
See you soon

Hi Guys,
Just looked at the last set of pics, and have 2 small points to make:
A) I never thought I would see a photo entitled 'Laura and Jesus' , &
B) I am so proud that you haven't abondoned Primark's fashions, wherever you have travelled in the world!
Pictures still look great,
On a countdown now until you come home, as we're all missing you.
Love you loads,
Jo
