Our first morning in Goa was spent on the beach! Finally we got to have a bit of relaxation....we were, however, bombarded by children asking for money and selling jewellery. They must have known we were new by our glowing white skin....we are now glowing red!! We spend the afternoon out of the sun, just relaxing with our books and Su Doku. We arrived in Mumbai tired and hot - so our pre-booked taxi, not arriving was not a great start to our trip! We decided to share a taxi with a very nice French boy, who was also heading our way. The taxi ride was an "experience" to say the least, we didn't think we'd arrive in one piece! The rules to driving in India are that.....there are no rules; just overtake, beep your horn and you'll fit in well! There was even a fight in the middle of a big intersectio...

So, the itinerary is set and all of our vaccinations are up to date (ouch!), the research is getting there (slowly) and we're getting excited!
