Well here I am, I have finished my trip and am heading home tonight. So this will be my last blog. 55 days travelling across the South American continent have come to an end. Moved to my new hotel/hostel yesterday. Getting there was a real experience! Got the metro from Copacabana to Botafogo and changed trains to one to Lapa no problems. Got off at the right stop. Was planning on getting a taxi the few blocks to my hostel so was no need for a map. No taxi driver would take me. At the time I was unsure why. Paraty is amazing! Yesterday I had a look around the old town before getting on board our private boat to sail around the islands in the bay. We all ate and drank and spent 6 hours from 3pm-9pm swimming and jumping off the side of the boat. The water was so incredibly warm and clear. Getting to the end of my trip now, only 10 days left and despite looking forward to going home I also dont want to leave. The last few days have been pretty amazing. We arrived in Iguaçu falls on the morning of the 3rd of Feb. We had the best buffet breakfast here and showered and then at midday we headed to the falls.
