Waking up in beautiful savannah...what more can you ask for. Well probably a better breakfast. It was adequate but Linda didn't like the gravy and biscuits but did like waffles.
So off we went to river street. A historical street with cobblestones and amazing views. Then we headed to Forsyth park for more amazing scenery and then off to to the spot where Forrest gump was filmed. Savannah is a beautiful place with heritage and beautiful buildings. I am in love.
We then headed to the less financial district...hmmm I think we might stay in the car for this part of the day. Like night and day the difference.
We then headed for a picnic in the park before random road tripping.
We ended up in I am not sure which town but lots of hillbilly things to see and of course Walmart.
After we had finally finished at Walmart we headed to citi trends. I am presuming all pimps and employees shop there as the only word to describe it was "hoochy" but you can buy all brand name shoes and accessories etc really cheap. So Mitch was pretty happy to buy basketball boots and air Jordan accessories really cheap.
So after walking around the shop for way too long we headed back to the hotel to put a load of washing on and make tea.
To end our day we went to see Christmas lights. The first house was pretty amazing as it had its own radio frequency so we tuned in and the light show synchronised to the radio music. Very clever and kept us amused for a while. Next stop was at bob and Betty's house who put lights up each year and raise money for the salvation army. They even provide hot chocolate and have a port a loo. It was hard to top those houses so we checked a little more out and headed back to the hotel to pack up for an early start tomorrow
