Today was our first day at universal. Our shuttle picked us up early and we headed off. After a much needed coffee we entered universal studios.
So the rides started....Paul started with the biggest roller coaster on that side of the park....we watched. He was a bit more adventurous than us so we settled on the less heart pumping rides and simulators.
Springfield was a bit of a favourite so we spent a bit of time exploring before going to watch fear factor live.
We then ventured in to Harry potter land....hmmmm there were a lot of fans waving sticks and wearing costumes, not just kids, a lot of adult fans. So after spending time with these "special" fans we kept going to work our way around to the parade area.
My favourite part of the day was the Macy's balloon holiday parade. The balloons were from the thanksgiving parade from NY. It was so festive and we were constantly showered in Xmas confetti. It is really starting to feel like Xmas.
