Mate, quick update on Johnny 'the hero's' message of a couple of days ago.
On the news today that they have discovered why the military decided to overun Bangkok.
Apparently, the son of General Hoi Sin von Plum III, was mysteriously beaten at a game of pool by a large "drunk and clumsy white guy in an England football shirt". The 8 year old boy, who sadly only has one arm, described the individual concerned as possessing "two of the largest ears I have ever seen".
Dude, I'm not saying that you 'fit the bill' but Sydney does seem the better option at the mo. At least most of their children have all limbs intact.
Just a friendly bit of advice sunshine.
Love you
xxxx

Hi everybody else,
well Siagon is very nice. Lots of motorbikes and bars and stuff, it's quite hectic but I think I prefer it to Hanoi. Apparently in 1950 700,000 people lived here but now there are 10,000,000. Of the 14,000,000 motorbikes in Vietnam 4,000,000 of them are here in Siagon. Every year 17,000 people dies in road traffic accidents in Vietnam and every day 4/5 people die in Siagon alone. These are some cheery facts our tour guid told us today. Today we have been visiting a Cao Dai temple, the main one in Vietnam, it was very pretty and we also went to the Co Chi tunnels. The tunnels were rediculously small as you will be able to see when I put the photos on in a bit.
Tomorrow is another early start as we head out to the Mekon Delta for a three day trip ending up in Cambodia. More on that in a bit (once we have actually done it).
Well Neil has managed to find me so we are off for some dinner now.
Thanks for the warning Johnny, we were planning on going to Bangkok after Cambodia but we think we'll give it a miss.
Take care all xxxxxx Mandy

Neil........ I turned left out of the hotel and went into the first internet place I came to, where you said you'd be, and which happens to be next door, and unless that M16 affected my eyes as well as my ears you are not here. You took all the money with you and I am using a computer that I can't pay for. Please return.

I don't know why i keep calling you dude dude.
Johnny The Hero
Dude just thought i might mention the military coup (not coop Tony don't get excited) that's currently going on in Thailand.
You may want to give Bangkok a bit off a miss, or you'll possibly have to dodge a few badly aimed bullets whilst navigating away from the oncoming tanks etc.
I know you grew up in Paulsgrove, but being the clumsy bumbaclot that you are, you're bound to get yourself in sort sort of mischief. Unless off course you fancy a few beers with your old mates, then just go back to Thailand head towards the British consulate and Roberts your mothers brother the RAF'll give you a free flight home! Sound good hey? Then you could get 50 of your family and friends to chuck you a tenner to get a flight to Australia. (not me though as it was my great idea so i'm excluded) In fact Junior's moved out so you and Mandy can stay in Paulsgrove! Happy days!
Well take care. Be safe. And keep it real! Who'd have thought that cliffing Cambodia would be safer than Thailand? What's the world coming too? Just seen on the news all the tanks in Bangkok dude.
Seriously, get yourself back to Conney Island pronto dude, or Australia, where you can get a "Donk" to look after you in case any military coups happen there.

Hey guys,
thanks for the songs Katie, they were great. We are no longer going to be on msn at #pm (your time) as it is in the middle of the day for you guys and the middle of the night for us. From now on we will be on msn at 12pm (your time) every Sunday. This will be 6pm our time and will mean I don't have to leave Neil in the pub because he is in the middle of a football match!!!!
Love you all more than Neil loves Pompey being top of the league (well maybe) xxxx

It says you can hear what I am playing so... oh here come the Editors!! Anway, no amount of volume is gonna make you hear me so I'll read your postcards instead.......
