Hi all

Just wanted to tell you that the postcards are very nearly up to date. Just finished Hoi An (the second one is absilutely huge, sorry) and that just leaves Nha Trang where we still linger. Should be leaving Monday, but we've left ourselves well short of time. After Mui Ne, we're off to Saigon and the Mekong delta for about a week, then on to Cambodia for two weeks, then Malayasia to hopefully meet up with the others (and maybe Matt - the bloke from glasters for those of you who don't remember). sweet.

Off for some lunch now, then gonna settle down to get rashed while watching watch the Scouse derby, then Chelse v Charlton tyen it was supposed to be Man Utd v Spurs nut it's been postponed til tomorrow. Never mind, later on there's Bolton v watford, then Pompey v Wigan. The Pompey game doesn't start til 4.45 am, but I'm really hoping that they'll put it on instead of the Man Utd game. Otherwise I might just be a little too tired/drunk to watch it. And I've got to be up to go diving at 7.15. Oops!
Never mind though, they repeat the games ad nauseam anyway so i'll catch it at some point if I miss it.

Now if Johnny had a landline, then I'd be able to phone him and Stu at half time. Ah well, such is life.

Hurry up and get that email address sorted big man, i'm missing you like mad!

Personally i was more upset when Rod Hull died. Now that was pure mourning.
Who's going to look after his wife and kids? Who cares? Who's gonna look after Emu?
He was a cheeky bstard anyway, trying to take over Rolf's reaign as a stereotypical Australian.
Now perhaps we can get back to more realistic television programmes like "Bufty the crack slayer" or Star Trek.

Trying to get an email address sorted out. I've got about three but i've forgotten the passwords for all of them. Talking to stuuy last night and he'd love to go see you in Aus, but i'll not fly. Best offer is a cruise to mexico next year which is a definite poss. thinking maybe meet up with you two in South America, have a couple of weeks there, and then bosch up to fatsville tennesse for a burger or six. Maybe do my nuts in Vegas and then get converted by a cult and happily live out a few years in a trailor park. Sound good hey?
Looking at maybe a couple of grand for the cruise (unless i get a job on the cruise ship, or stow away) and head off into the sunset. Tequila and chimmy changers for elevensies? sounds good!
I hear you're turning into a bit of a flid, and have lost a load of weight. Glasses have gone missing too as well. Well that really surprised me about the glasses, you never had any trouble with spectacles before you went! I have the memory of a fish at the best of times but when the most taxing thing your brain has had to do in the last three months is divide the dinner bill into three I do not consider it entirely my fault for forgetting such matters. On our part, just recovered from some food poisoning - had to happen eventually owing to the amount of seafood we're consuming. But we did it in style at least. Shark fin and seafood soup, Tiger prawns the size of my fist (3 each), squid salad, a pound of lobster and a cocktail to finish. All fresh as it gets, with most of it being pulled out of the tank while we were sitting there. All for the princely sum of 18 quid. And a night of sitting on the toilet being sick in the sink. Beautiful.

We've had to extend our visas, cos we're well and truly stuck in Nha Trang. We've not finished our open water yet due to the food poisoning, but hopefully tomorrow.

On the plus side, as we've extended our visas for another month, we're gonna head down to Mui Ne for 3 days and really live it up. Beach front bungalows with air con, cable telly, sunken bath, mini bar, 2 swimming pools (its on the beach anyway), sauna, jacuzzi the absolute works, and breakfast thrown in. All for 130 quid. Not quite the 3 quid a night we're paying now, but it still only works out at about 22 quid each a night. Its not like we're gonna be able to live it up 5 star style in Oz so what the fook. The added bonus is we can learn to surf while we're there too. Woo hoo!

Right, I'm off to have dinner and consume a beer or six, and try and stay awake long enough to watch the England game. It doesn't start til half one over here, so it might be a bit if a struggle.Never mind though, they repeat the games pretty much constantly anyway.Watched Pompey stuff Boro again this morning. Fantastico!

Mand, I am so with you in mourning over Steve Irwin - how sad and all I can think about is his poor wife Terri, Bindy and his wee son, awful news I'm proper upset. We did a silent affirmation for him at yoga this evening whilst doing pose of crocodile - I sh** you not!!
Glad we got to see him in March, hope the Zoo can carry on without him. And Neil, its outside Brisbane not Sydney you clutz!!!

Anyway, we were late yesterday getting on line but should be good to go next Sunday - sorry guys
