Erin and her boyfriend James kindly started the day off by providing us breakfast and then Trevor and Andrew spent the rest of the morning watching the Superbowl while Mandy enjoyed the sun next to the pool. We then decided to head up north a little to one of the beaches that Trevor surfs at, there wasn't enough waves to warrant having the boards with us though. Not that either of us have a clue how to surf!

Trevor and Sarah live about 30 miles north of Perth, and we travelled another 30 minutes north to visit this particular beach. There is a beach 5 minutes’ walk from the house but we went to Trevor’s favourite beach, it was a nice drive. Nothing much to see other than a few dead kangaroos at the side of the road!

We had to off road to get to the car park, I think people pay a lot of money to experience real off roading like that- it was fun, if not very bumpy!

We were the only 5 people on the beach for the 3 hours we were there. Andrew and Trevor swam and played in the sea for a bit then we all fell asleep with the sounds of the wave! Next thing we knew it was 1530 and lil’ Trevor would have finished his first day back at school and was waiting outside the house to get in. Poor boy (oh no wait a minute, at least he could take a swim in the pool!).

We had great plans to go out for dinner down at the Marina, but after getting in the pool, we couldn’t be bothered going out so Sarah and lil’ Trevor went out to collect some pizza and beers. Trevor challenged us to a table tennis tournament which he won (shock), then we retired to the pool til around 10pm.
