Not a lot to write about today, had next to no sleep last night in the Hostel, way to noisey and smelly. Maybe got 2.5 hours if I'm lucky, so needles to say I'm a tired boy today.
Got up early and walked around Bruges again, it was so quiet, barely no one around, the people were setting up their food market which they hold in the Central Square every Wednesday, lots of fresh fruit and breads etc.
Went inside the main church which had lots of old artwork on display dating back to 1642 on one piece i saw. It was here that I took photos of the Sculpture of Lady Madonna which Michaelangelo carved out of granite. Looked in pristine condition even today, it was made around the 10th century i think it said.
From there i went and bought some chocolate from one of many such stores floating around the place, and boy was it good.
My last stop before I hit the road again was a quick peek in the other church which makes claim they have a vial of Jesus's blood. I couldn't work out where it was displayed so left, jumped in the car and made the 1.5 hour journey (which took near double that due to accidents, road works and me getting lost) to Brussels.
I'm actually staying just outside Brussels which is approx 15 mins by train to the Central Station.
So tomorrow I hit Brussels, can't wait.

Bro Belgium chocolate mate, you cant beat it. Great to see your getting such a great history lesson. Thats one thing Trace and I have noticed in all the world travels we have done, that Australia is so young and new. 10th century....funny isnt it. Keep the adventures coming mate, loving the reads. Oh and by the way Trace and I are jealous.. Bro & Trace
