After setting up our tent beneath some ominous looking clouds we headed down towards town to find something for dinner. We made it about 500 meters before the torrential rain hit, soaking us through (despite our $400 Gortex jackets) within minutes. After hiding from our first tropical downpour of the trip in a Victoria Falls Internet cafe, we returned to the hostel via the supermarket. we picked up a six pack of Zimbabwe's own Zambezi lager and spent an enjoyable hour or two seeing these off and making a few one-night friends.
