Jenn Hi there! Great blog!!! I'm hoping you would be the perfect person to answer my question... even though I'm writing to you 2 years later ;) You mentioned that your trip from Fish River Canyon to Sesriem was 650km... could you please tell me (approximately, from what you can remember) how long it took you to drive this distance? 8 hours? 10 hours? More? We are planning on leaving FRC early in the morning, but have to be at Sesriem Campsite before the gates to the park close around 6pm the same evening... can this be done (provided we don't run into a major emergency)? Thank you so much!!!
re: Windhoek, Fish River Canyon & Sossusvlei, NamibiaJohn Stone Hi Mads and Tom Once again I am catching up on over a weeks worth of your travel. What an amazing time you are having and it's great you are both putting yourself out there to try new things, though Africa must be running out of new beers to try. Look forward to seeing Mads in just over a week. Do you want African food on your first night or will you be ready for some good old fish and chips? Dad
re: Addis Ababa & Lalibela, EthiopiaSteph Amazing! I feel like I'm reading an adventure novel :p well done guys such an accomplishment. I love that the scariest part of all this for Mads was probably those darn birds. Safe travels :) xx
