San Francisco...a gr8 place but very quiet after the bright lights of NYC.  Lots (& I mean LOTS of hills) this was not the easiest place to get around, but to make it more interesting we hired bikes.  We got to see a lot more, but after the first day everything was sore & getting on a bike was the last thing I wanted to do.  We still had to bike across the Golden Gate Bridge though and as that was the reson we hired them in the first place ...

As the Fijians would say..."Bula!"  Not much to say about Fiji - everything was so relaxed - all you had to do was turn up at mealtimes or you missed out on food.  One thing I didn't expect was the lack of electricity, we were lucky to have some for a limited time in the evenings - perfect for using my straightners, which I would have been lost without!   The tepid showers were an experience but I guess the tropical sun made...
