So here I am in Ottawa, I arrived on the 16th Sept. Im now sitting in an internet cafe, as I have 5 hours to spare (my dad would be proud, early for once) before my bus journey to Fort Coulonge, just a 'short' distance from Ottawa, just off the banks of Ottawa River.
Enough about the next stop I hear you cry, what about Ottawa? Ok, to summaries, Ottawa is the type of city I like, it is small and everything is central. As everything is so centrally located, it is easy to walk the city and see mostly everything in a short period of time. All of their landmarks, shops, restaurants and pubs are all within walking distance from the hostel and are fairly reasonably priced.
So what about Ottwaws nightlife? Ok, Ok, keep your knickers on, which is hard in this city as there as sooo many hotties) Ottawa pub/nightlife scene, is amazing. They have great pubs, very commercialised for tourist but great in themselves and most have live music and people are really laid back and chilled here. The clubs are FAB, and WILD. God do the people of Ottawa know how to party, and party Hard! I love it, fellow alocohols. At last!!!!!!
So all in all Ottawa is a nice place to visit, I love the fact that everything is on a small scale, low key, slow paced and all central, but theres not that much to see or do, so I feel after spending 3 nights here it is time to move onto the next.
As I have mentioned earlier, I going back into the countyside to Fort Coulonge-again, I dont know what to expect, but I know Canadian countryside will not disappointment. And prehaps there may be some hotties there......
