Globe trekker
So here I am in Niagara Ontario (on the Canadian side) . And what a s*** tip this place is. Niagara the town is very run down and the place is very random, with some posh neighbourhood and the rest shanty, rundown, dirty neighbourhoods which cars that look like they have been dumped but are still being used, brick and brack in the front lawns, and the place is full of white trash, homeless looking people. This changes the closer to the falls you get and it becomes very commercialised, full of posh hotels, casinos and amusement games. It reminds me of Blackpool.
But the falls themselves are breath taking, a truelly awe inspiring sight, a definate must see, just dont spend more that a day here as there is nothing much else to do or see.
If you are to come to the falls make sure you see the falls by day and by night, make sure you either go on the maid of the mist, which takes you into the horseshoe of the falls so that you can so how truelly immense they are, or if you have the money fork out the extra and see it by the sky via a helicopter (I unfortunately couldnt affort the latter but the maid of the mist was awesome). In the night, the falls are light up and look amazing. Within season they put on firework displays, but unforunatley, I was 2 weeks late to see me-doh!
Anyway best go as Ive got to get the 9.30pm bus to Chicago, in which I hope to spend 1 night.
Miss you all xxx
