Lying in a sleeping bag, watching the stars and the glow of a camp fire ......what does that mean ?.....Someone has nicked your tent !!! Are you sure you're not actually still at Glastonbury !!
Mike
Forgot to say 'HAPPY BIRTHDAY' old girl !!! Have a good one !! I'll send you some disposable knickers !!
Mike P.
Hi Lynne,
I told you to take that spade ! It certainly appears that you are having a damn good time ! well, that's quite enough, you need to come back to reality....but please have a shower first !! Was that edible bra useful ? Apparently they're good for stampeding elephants ! They love something sweet !! Well i'm still on that operation - yes, it's been nearly 2 years !! Dug ditches, unshowered bodies and stale urine - we've experienced that as well !! but at least i've had the benefit of a loo and a shower ! As you are now obviously experienced with wall building i may have some work for you when you get back !! I know JF has !! Yes, he's still enjoying his retirement and doing b***** all !! Look after yourself and we'll have a drink when you get back ! It'll be nice to see you with a dark tan !! Stay safe ! Mike

Hi Lynne. Well, all I can say is "Wow"! Hope you have stocked up on wet wipes for part 2 of the Namibian adventure! Don't envy you that bit!! We really enjoyed our trip to Cape Town - Thank you for the invite! Good to catch up on the tales yesterday! Congratulations on becoming an Auntie again & "Happy Birthday" for this weekend...not quite sure what you will be doing to celebrate this year! Hopefully they give you an extra roll mat & you have chance to treat yourself to a shower!! See you soon!
Ash
Hi Lynne, sorry not posted much - wow what experiences you have had over the past few weeks! You'll come back fit, tanned, refreshed and care free - will definitely require an evening at the Bath spa as well I feel - Kate, Toni, Helen - you up for that too? More importantly a welcome home bash if the eles haven't got to you first. By diverse group I'm guessing no sex then? Mind you, no shower for 5 days probably just as well - see there are striking similarities to Hillmead as Cleggy states. I did Glastonbury on site and I think I have had similar experiences to you. Can't wait to catch up and see all those photos - looking at the site I reckon you can sell some! Quick UK update - House still available if your interested as no-one can get a mortgage in this country, there is no summer again and Lee fell off his mountain bike breaking his collar bone, two ribs and thumb (although he seemed to be able to polish the bus yesterday so think it's a bit like Little Britain's Lou and Andy when I'm not looking - yeh I know!) Take care, don't upset the female eles and see you soon (have you got a tatoo yet or your nose pierced?) Ash.
Toni
Correction to last msg...I meant how close were you to the Lions...not the sunset!!??
Toni
Hi Lynne, just viewed your latest pics, they're brilliant! Some of those sunsets were amazing! How close were you when you took the pics?? Not sure I enjoyed the close up of their lunch, altho' they probably did. (Closest I've got to a lion was at the cinema, sequel to Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe!!) You're not missing much here, the weather is still c***, was off to the Air show at Fairford last weekend but it was cancelled, too much rain!! Thought I'd wish you a Happy Birthday for next weekend, as not sure when you'll read your msgs next...hope you have a good one! Bye for now Toni x

Glad you had such a good time in Cape Town. Quite jealous, 'cos you've now been up Table Mountain twice. We walked up two "mountains" in the lake district. No-one told me I'd have to scrabble up on "all fours" for the final push. Views were brilliant. Now off to Beer country next week. What could be better than that ? Karen and I went to see Meatloaf at the Rec in Bath last night. (Culture !???) Band was excellent, though Mr Meat lost the plot a bit we thought. Enjoy your time with the elephants. See you soon.

A photo of a South African Suzi I trust you gave her a pat. Good to speak the other day and enjoy Table Mountain Lodge. Fond memories!
I'll e mail you the latest 'plan' soon Enjoy your time with Nic and Mark and let her know that I'll take her out on the bike this year?. Safe travels, me ;-)
