Hi by the time you're reading this hopefully I'll be well on the way to my first destination. South America in the form of Chile, Argentina and Easter Island initially before heading off for a few months in South Africa and Namibia! Hopefully you'll join me on my travels by adding updates from home.

Kate Hi Lynne Well it's nearly the end of September and the sun has been visible for several days now. Mum went off on her holiday to Blackpool this morning. I not sure how you're going to cope in deepest Somerset without ele's. Suggest Longleat? (though I'm not even sure if they HAVE any) Have fun treking! 140km in 6days, across desert. A good way to end your adventure. Must be a new way of winding down. See you soon. x

Ash Hi, Lynne, I've just got back from exploring the wild areas of France - all joking apart there were wild boar in the sunflower field behind our gite and for a few days before we realised what it actually was it was a bit scarey! Then to top it all two toads joined us on the patio (I named them Wayne and Waynetta) which made me jump a tad when I first saw them what with imagination's running high - so don't think you've got the menopoly of excitment with your paragliding, elephants and chetah!

You know who Great to speak to you just now and a catch up was a tad overdue I guess? Enjoy the next couple of weeks and I hope the 'new' team are ok. Kate Hi Lynne. A couple of weeks gone already. Hope the project is going well. Still not a lot of summer here, but nice on A COUPLE of days. We went to the Dorset Steam Fair last week and spent hours mooching about. I was surprised to find I quite enjoyed it (except for loads of auto jumble, which is obviously a man thing) Now getting ready for our next caravan holiday to Exmoor. Have fun !! Love Kate x

Mike p. Hi Lynne, I told you to take that spade ! It certainly appears that you are having a damn good time ! well, that's quite enough, you need to come back to reality....but please have a shower first !! Was that edible bra useful ? Apparently they're good for stampeding elephants ! They love something sweet !! Well i'm still on that operation - yes, it's been nearly 2 years !! Dug ditches, unshowered bodies and stale urine - we've experienced that as well !! but at least i've had the benefit of a loo and a shower ! As you are now obviously experienced with wall building i may have some work for you when you get back !! I know JF has !! Yes, he's still enjoying his retirement and doing b***** all !! Look after yourself and we'll have a drink when you get back ! It'll be nice to see you with a dark tan !! Stay safe ! Mike
