I flew out in to the blue skies of Manchester, in to the thick cloud of Cork, Ireland. Great! After landing I got a 70 euro taxi to The Ballymaloe Cookery School in Shanagarry. Abit pricey but I got there in one piece considering the taxi drivers terrible driving and these treturous roads!I was met by Tim Allen "Timmy" at the school ,who showed me to where I would be living for the next 3 months.."The Barn". After seconds of putting my bags down I was of with two of my new housemates, Kate and Imogen to...Tescos! Tescos is in Midleton which is about 12 miles away, luckily kate has a car! We stocked up on food and came back.We then met some of the other students, 11 people live in the Barn including myself and everyone seemed very friendly.We had a welcome pizza meal in the school and then all went back to the house to prepare ourselves for our first day!
