An exciting day... At the Tuttle Bay Beach a endangered monk seal came to shore and parked herself there all day for a rest. They put ropes around her and had a security guard protecting her all day. We just left the beach now at 7pm and they said she might stay the night, the kids are sure hoping so because she is awesome!!
While snorkelling Nolan saw a baby turtle so that was a highlight of the day. I lounged in the beach most of the detention and tanned and watched the kids play in the water. We had brupper (French toast with tropical fruit salad) this evening.
In the morning we went to Dole and learned all about pineapples and took a train trip around the plantation. The garden tour was my favourite part, was like Butchart Gardens but in Hawaii. Off to have a margarita now... :)
