So...

Cairns and the Great Barrier Reef! I had such a good weekend. Stayed in Cairns for 2 nights then headed north to a place called Port Douglas for 2 nights. It was really lovely up there, Cairns itself is a bit tacky, aimed at travellers. Got 2 good days out at different reefs along the Great Barrier Reef which was out of this world. My photos don't do it justice. Even the coral was multi-coloured. The water was as warm as a bath too. Queensland is so tropical compared to dusty Victoria.

And yes its true... I DID go Sky Diving! it was amazing! Sooo much fun! I wasn't even scared that the tiny airplane door was open the whole way up! Just need to go up a high building now to see if its cured my fear or heights. Jumped from the highest height of 14,000ft and through the clouds (which to my disappointment didnt taste like candy floss like I have thought since a child!) Then we went through the rain which was like bits of glass hitting off your face! Once the parachute went up you will all be pleased to know I didn't pee my pants and confirmed that in my DVD that filmed me jumping. Have been trying to upload it onto the website but havent quite figured out how yet so will keep trying! You will all get a laugh!

Other than that I have a hen weekend in the country coming up and also a wedding! Tommorrow I sadly turn 26 so have a Nepalese dinner and then drinks planned in the trendy part of town with friends. And just to confirm, there is also an Aussie boy on the scene called Dave.. will see how long he can put up with me :)
