We're now in Koh Phangan and everything is looking good...except for the charge to withdraw money which euge has just found whilst checking is balance.

I did think id uploaded pictures but it obviously hasnt worked, the place im in now costs us so im gunna wait until were in bangkok becasue its free in some places there.

Ko Phangan is awesome to sum everything up. We've now been here 5 nights and its changing all the timer, getting busier in preparation for the infamous full moon party on the 22nd. We have great accommodation with spectacular view overlooking haad rin nok beach which is where the full moon party is and all for 183 bhat per person a night.

We've already had some interesting nights here. The half moon party was scheduled for the 14th and was goiung swimmingly for us until chang interfered. It claims that its 6.4% tho weve been told from the locals there is no official alcoholic volume so they just guessed but its on par with stella at least. Basically i chundered. I was a mess so went back to the room and leigh and euge carried on for a little longer tho euge the next day didnt move for what must nearly be a record 10 hours. he finally rose at bout 7 after me and leigh decided to go back and get more money for a random sesh. As there's more people coming now there is going to be life on the beaches until after the fmp and we first experienced that last night. It was wicked, everyone on the beach with buckets and bottles etc jumping over a flaming skipping rope, limboing undera flaming rope. They have some obsesion with fire there, but apparently the ropes are doused with paraffin so that doesnt burn you so long as u dont get it caught on you. Euge had a slight burn on his foot, but i came out unscathed after successfully jumping over the flaming skipping rope. It was fun but after not taking the necessary warm up steps ive got some strain in my back so i may have to venture to a massage parlour.

What wasn't fun was 3 days ago now. We went sunbathing on the fmp beach and me and leigh decided to go and stand under the crashing waves. it was cool until we moved onto the slightly rougher part and without knowing ended up a bit too far out with a very strong currant pulling us out. There was also a girl struggling so her friends came out to help her and they too got stuck. By this time i was getting tired and managed to find shallow enough ground to walk back and get someone to help. Leigh went to help the girl and without knowing had 2 people hanging on to him. i went back out with some guy to help the girls in but stupidly forgot how tired and pout of breath i was so after seeing everyone sucessfully reach the shore line i then struggled to et back in but obviously did as i wouldnt be writing this blog. So top tip, dont stray too far from the shore. If you dont know the sea and tide etc then you could easi;ly be swept out and with no lifeguards it could become serious. Anyway onto something more positive.

Ben and Westy are due to arrive soon so the diamond trio will soon become a penta something. Euge leigh and I are now into saving mode until they get there. So its water and sandwiches for us.

Koh Phangan has no or little hookers! we havent been approached once since weve been here which is nice. We can now wonder the streets wihtout the prospect of being grabbed and touched up which to be honest isnt always bad.WAHEY! We've met up with some people we met in Bangkok and also Koh Samui which is cool so look forward to meeting up with them at some other point, we didnt catch theyre names but the israeli couple are well tanned so they stand out compared to us and also the other geezers are no doubtedly the ones that will be dancing on the tables at the beach tonight.

If anything interesting happens ill post it up but it might not be until bangkok so until the ping pong clubs and tuk tuk racing i will say my farewells...Also dont order french toast if you come here...it was just bread! and they had the nerve to charge 16p more than for toast! b******s!
