Hi Everyone,

Writing from a climatic Thailand. Hope everyone is well. This is going to be quite quick as I will be charged about 50p once this is done so obviously need to keep all the funds for partying.

The flight was a long and ardious journey. Unfortunately me and euge weren't able to sleep and along with the night out previously that mant we were knackered. The flight itself was ok as they had films but unwisely i decided to chooseto watch more action films that would keep me awake but o well.

Once out of the airport we were hustled by people to choose their taxis and after some rather rubbish haggling ie asking for a 100 bhat taxi journey that should have cost 800 we decided to line up instead. Our big bag had to be tied to the boot with mine on top and most vulnerable to falling! Fortunately though, it managed to last and we ended up arriving on the main travel spot which i still don't know the name of. Its unbelievably busy and people are always coming up to you trying to sell you stuff but i suppose you have to expect it as were the rich westeners.

Not much really happened first night, went out for a drink and meal which we laughed at because it only cost us about 2 quid for dinner and abeer larger than a pint which we were more than happy to comply with. Went back to our very cheap room and woke up to rain and humidity.

We decided that we wanted out of bangkok, not becasue we didnt like it but were all anxious to hit the beaches and also well be back so we decided well come back for few more days before we leave on 1st March.

Tuk Tuks are the bomb!!! It was absolutely hammering it down and so 3 of us crammed into a tuk tuk with me the unlucky one on the outside so my entire left hand side got drenched and sprayed the whole journey into a different part of Bangkok. Well worth it though, im not sure if it was our driver or it just being a tuk tuk but we were laughing all the way and hanging onto dear life as we swerved and wobbled through the aggressive traffic. Its the best way round and it does look so stylish!

Were off down south this evening on a VIP bus. Wil ltake roughly 9 hours and then a ferry to an island which i dont know the name of either. Its not down to the fact that im unorganisd, its more the case that i cant pronounce the names!

As this is really only our second day there isnt too much to tell thus far. we only have a handful of piccys so wont bother posting them up this time but im sure therell be much more soon! Will report back when i have something more interesting to say!
