I've been a bit slack on updating this travel (snow) blogg…because well I've been riding lots, and pretty shattered in the evenings. The snow has been falling pretty hard with some windy to very windy days. The chalet has a new feel with 4 new guys turning up at the start of Feb. A real shame the Scottish lads had to go home. I've been riding pretty much everyday…some days more mellow than others. Andy (one of the new housemates) and I have been hitting the Magic chair down on Blackcomb….its a chair for beginners. Quite a laugh and they light it up too a couple nights a week. It has a relaxing quality to it since its so slow, good to do at the end of the day as a nice wind down. I've also finished off the 2nd mini vid of our freestyle attempts, you can check it out over here I think the next one is going to have more powder in it. The best run of the week has to be getting first lifts up 7th Heaven with me, Scott and Andy, a little bit of sun, fresh untracked powder, no one around, didn't stack it...blissful riding! Yesterday was a chilled out one finding different tree lines of Jersey Cream, had a great burger….the food is a lot better than other resorts…and then Andy & I hit the skateboard park at night tiring to find things to jump off, pretty safe as everywhere has 2m of snow for fall in to.. Only 3 more weeks until Naomi comes over can't wait I'm sure she will love it.
