It was a National Holiday in Argentina today to celebrate the anniversary of the Revolution. A few of us went to the Plaza de Mayo to hear President Kirchner's speech. Whilst we were there we thought the atmosphere was amazing and it was, as there were thousands of people, music, flags etc etc. However, we later found out that the Government had paid a lot of people to go so that President Kirchner looked popular! Once I found this out I realised that the atmosphere had been somewhat forced, and thus not that amazing!
In the evening sixteen of us went to La Cabrera for Leila's last night. Leila is off to El Calafate, which is where I am going on Tuesday, so hopefully she'll tell me just how cold it is down there at the min! Not sure if I really want to know!
