Hi Everyone!!

I am in Stonetown, Zanzibar. I have to admit I have not had the best day ever.. got ripped off quite majorly by guys at the ferry port, and when I arrived in Zanzibar we had the usual people offering to "show us to the hotel". Having said no, several times, one man followed us anyway and then asked for money.The man at thehotel gave him some money and said to stop harrassing the guests, so he eventually left, but after threatening us of "meeting you again" etc etc. As a result I whimped out of taking anything valuable with me onm my journey here, so apologies for no photos. I will be taking a guided tour tomorrow, as I'm not staying by myself here now!!! You will have pictures then.

It is very hot here, about 34 at the moment. I resemble a tomato. the builidings are amazing, just so old and interesting, and the streets are insanely narrow, you can only drive around the city not through it. It is very interesting and beautiful.

The flight went fine, and I have new stamps in my passport :-) from Tz and Zanzibar.

Anyway, I shall be off. You will either hear from me tomorrow, or not for quite a long time because I am out on the beach and then on safari. I hope you're all well. Lots of love xxx
