It's me again....it might be a shock to some that it is so soon but I though whilst I have good access to the web I would make the most of it!!!

Well we are coming to the end of our week in Hawaii and what a perfect week it has been. The weather has been BEAUTIFUL...bright sunshine everyday. So tanning is doing very well....just hope it last til I get home hopefully I will be able to top it up in LA. We have spent most of our time on the beach....it's been so nice to stay in one place for more than 2 nights!!Waikiki is a lovely area...very touristy tho and I think its a bit like a much classier version of Las Vegas. Lots of posh hotels and the shops are all very expensive such as Gucci, Prada and Louis Vuiton....so mainly been window shopping apart from the souvenir shops!!! The beach is one block away from our hostel and really nice with stunning sunsets and lots of surfers....unfortunately none very good looking!!!! But a lot of 'prawns' (translated as: men with good bodies just take off the head!!!!) The surf is pretty strong and we haven't  ventured out there just stayed in the lagoon on our lilos!!!!

We have ventured out of waikiki once....today....we went to Northshore which took us 2 hours to get there on the public bus....bit of a way but the beaches were stunning and the surf much much stronger....it was a bit of a mission to go for a swim. Anna came out of the sea lookinga bit battled after the waves got the better of her......but don't worry she is fine.....we laugh about it now. Saw a sea turtle and yet more Japs (Japanese) they are EVERYWHERE. It took us nearly 3 hours to get back so we weren't amused by the time we got back to the hostel but it only cost us $4 round trip so it could have been a lot worse.

Our hostel has been brill and in a perfect location. The only downer was our roommate for the first 3 nights....he was a royal pain in the behind!!! He was a 28 yo black american from NY and soo annoying. He lectured us on the climate of the US, wouldn't let us watch any TV without commenting on it and he smoked in the bathroom ( smoking indoors in now illegal in the US) Ohh and also he would leave the light  and TV on when we went to sleep so anna and I would wake up in the middle of the night and have to switch it all off...errrr.....luckily he moved out after 3 nighs complaining that we went to bed too early....I don't call 11pm too early. we arew glad to see the back of him and it meant that we didn't have to get him moved out!!!! We now have 2 new roommates from Norway who are really nice.

Anyway enough of my rant!!! Our last day in Hawaii tomorrow and guess what we plane to spend it on the beach!!!!
