Today we wanted to go to a beach that was meant to be a lot nicer than the tourist one and it was the one the locals go to. It was a lot further away though so (Im sorry mum) we hired a moped. The roads were really straight and quiet, and it is really the only way to get around without it costing you a fortune. They are so easy to ride anyway, I had lessons from Simon when we were in Thailand.
Carm got on the back and off we went. But we went a bit too far, missed the beach and then ran out of petrol. Thankfully a little Vietnamese woman pulled up next to us and asked us if we were OK. She went and got us some petrol and showed us where the beach was.
We stopped there for a few hours and it was much nicer than the tourist beach. The water was really clear and there was hardly anyone there. At about 3 we had to go to pick up my playsuit and shoes so we hopped back onto the bike and head into town. Even when it was busy it wasn't bad on the bike. It looks manic from the outside but on the inside of it all you have to concentrate on is the few in front of you and the one behind you.
I picked up my playsuit and was super pleased with it! It looks almost exactly the same as the picture and is really comfy. I then went to pick up my shoes and they were really nice as well. It is so nerve racking when you pay out money for something before you even know what its going to look like and it is so relieving when it turns out ok.
The bike had to be back by 5 so we went back then. After dropping it off we watched misery on the TV and then went out for dinner where we bumped into Jamie and Pete from Mui Ne. We went to Before and Now with them but rather than all having drinks we all had cake! It was looveellyyy. Chocolate Brownie Cheesecake yum yum!

Gran Bless the little Vietnamese woman who got petrol for you. Can't imagine that happening in England.
