Hello everyone!

I hope everyone is doing well. I've just settled back into the groove of school, and now it's time for Easter vacation.

This past Saturday we went to Hallein, a city not too far from Salzburg, which is where the Salzkammergut is. That is the salt mine, from which Salzburg takes it's name. Hallein itself is named after salt. Hal is the ancient celtic word for Salt. We got to ride down wooden slides down into the salt mines, we even walked the border into Germany- underground!

This Thursday I'm leaving for Vienna. Two friends from high school will be there, so I get to have lunch with them. Then I'll be heading off to Budapest, and perhaps Prag. After that I have a trip planned for London and Dublin. I might even got to Norway and Sweden over break. It depends if the flights go down in price.

Other than that, not a whole lot has happened here since my return from the US. I miss the fast food already!
