after our 11 hour flight, 2 hour bus journey and stresful walk through bangkok at night we arrived at our hotel! and within seconds the staff had taken our bags and were so helpful. we stuck out like a sore thumb and felt so under dressed as its a very posh hotel -thanks mum! its very hot and we seem to be the target of all local taxi drivers and tuk tuks ( motorbikes with space for passengers on the back) who think just because we are english we dont walk any where and have to be driven! Its chinese new year here so a few things are closed as its a public holiday so we went to a HUGE market and i experienced Thai toilets-so bad! still havnnt really worked them out yet!

we;re going on a canal trip tomorrow to see some culture and temples
