Well hello from Kenya! Oh my god, its only day 3 and im exhausted! I guess I'l start from when we got off the 8.5hour flight (comfy might i add..). We got to the airport and found a girl who was goin on the Sout venture too.. she had arrived late with no luggage! so we took her under our wing and she came to the hotel with us, we got there about midnite (wer 2hours ahead). So 7am rise and we met the rest of the group, 23, aged between20-30ish from all over. We got into our trucks of 8 and headed to The Masai Mara Safari park.We saw so many animals; lions, giraffe, leopards, Hyena, Hippo elephants.. the list goes on! it was so amazing to se them in their own environment! we headed bak and spent the night in very nice tents with beds! was an experience.. that im getting used 2! the next day was similar, only we went 2 the local masai tribe village and met the tribes who took us around and told us abot their culture.. we went in their mudhuts and they did a dance for us! the kids are so amazing and were so excited to see us, they were hugging us and loved the attention. We were all stunned at what their way of life is like, and its nothing like u could imagine. We were telling them about England and they didn't even know what the weather was like and that we have cities! they are constantly approaching us askind for pens and magazines. Most speak english very well, and hope to come to england one day. Today we left the site and drove to Nairobi to styay here in tents but we have a lovel y lodge with VERY poor internet-ittakes ages 2write so excuse the mistakes! wer having dinner soon. then watching a flm here as there are sofas and pool! :D luxuary..also had the best shower ever and washd my hair 4 th 1st time! lol.
