Buenos Aires continued to be so much fun and a LOT of partying was involved. We managed to visit many areas of the city and had a particularly interesting experience when we accidentally sat in the area where the football hooligans sit at a Boca Juniors match! The atmosphere was fantastic though and really put English football to shame.

From BA we caught a bus to Mendoza which seemed tiny in comparison to the big city which we were really sad to leave. Mendoza soon made up for this though as the region is famous for wine production so we took full advantage of this- one day we hired bikes and went wine tasting at the various vineyards and wine factories.

We have now made it into Chile and are staying in a place called Valparaiso- a port town on the coast. Yesterday we took a boat trip around the area and went to a free music festival at night and today we went to the neighbouring seaside resort of Vina del Mar. Tomorrow we're going to explore Valparaiso a little more and then take a bus to Santiago where we'll stay for a few nights before the flight to New Zealand on Thursday...
