Just sent some postcards to you all from Cambodia, hope they get there soon!
Currently eating lunch in a cafe in phnom Penh, everywhere here has wifi, so I should be updating this more regularly, but the photos take so long to upload! Went to s21 and the killing fields yesterday which was quite emotional, met one of only two survivors and he told us his story of how he survived. Very sad to think that things like mass genocide still happen, will definitely be reading up on more about Cambodia history when I get back, although don't really want to come back at the moment, Cambodia is so cool! And I could easily spent 2 weeks exploring the temples and Angkor wat. It was so stunning! We could climb around the place, explore all the creases and touch whatever carvings we wanted to, don't think it will be like that in 20 years time though, then explored a couple of other temples, such as sunset temple, temple of many faces (where we took some awesome photos!) and the tomb raider temple, where the trees have overgrown the temple.
Had a bike ride around some rural villages which was a nice change from sitting in numerous public busses! The ride back in the dark though was a little hairy!
Done so much more, and off now to a honestly experience, sleeping out in the rough tonight! Got the headstrong and hopefully there will be a mosquito net somewhere, but so up for it!!!! Time is going by too fast at the moment!
Catch up soon!
