Three must-sees in Vancouver in one day! I took the SkyTrain, which is like a subway but above ground, really convenient, fast and a good way to travel. I started out at Science World and I started talking to a lonely guy in line. It turned out that he was a student at UBC, University of British Columbia, studying science. He offered to show me around all day, he said he had nothing better to do anyway and thought it was fun to chat with a Swedish girl. So this guy, Justin, gave me a tour of Science World. It was okay, very similar to Kreativum back in Karlshamn but cooler I guess. Two hours was enough though. Afterwards we went to a sushi place on our way to China town, one word.. DELICIOUS! China town was also a cool experience. It really felt like I was in China with all the Chinese signs, people, restaurants and stores. Last stop for the day was Stanley Park. We took the bus there and it was sad to see all the home less people and bums on the bus. I was a bit scared but Justin told me not to worry, that they look creepy and might talk creepy, but they won't touch you or hurt you.
Stanley Park was beautiful. We walked around the entire park just talking, watching the scenery, looking at flowers, trees and kids playing. What can I say, it was a nice walk but not like my huge expectations. Maybe I was expecting a rain forest, I don't know, but at least I can say I went to Stanley Park with a Canadian guy - booyah!
