Well, I haven't been kidnapped - yet! I'm just incredibly lazy and its easier to get James to type than to do it myself. A few observations in general about India and the places we have been: Weather - At this time of year in the north of India, at least, it is very foggy, which seems to bring everything to a grinding halt. So trains, planes and automobiles are completely useless. Everyone we meet complains about the weather - they seem to think its freezing....

Day 2 - Delhi in a day This morning we set out early, knowing we only had one day to see as much of Delhi as possible. We visited our friendly guide who collected us from the airport yesterday to discuss our options. It turned out our best bet was apparently to hire a driver for a day to show us the sights, which struck as us odd; we'd already experienced the traffic. Anyway, throwing caution to the wind at the prospect of a dedicated driver for the whole day...

Day 1 - Sleeping in Delhi (or 'Traffic') We have arrived! The plane was delayed, but the flashy back-of-the-headrest entertainment system made up for it. In fact, Jet Airways were brilliant. No goats, just hot towels, warm curry and cold, free booze. But even so, 8 hours on a Jet jet drags when your Episode of Bear Grylls in the Baja Desert is interupted by the three guys in front of you who, not content with extra leg room, decide to ram their seats fully back...
