So day four of our trip was essentially a new group of people as it was a separate 3 day trip for some of them. We first drove to a camel farm where i rode a camel for about 2 minutes, but was quite fun. We then spent about 4 hours driving to Yulara, the Ayers rock resort. i didnt realise Uluru is so far from alice springs. We went for a walk first around another big rock formation called the Olgas, which are similar to Uluru except they are made up of lots of rocks rather than just one big one. Gorgeous views on this walk. We then drove to watch the sunset over uluru, and had a glass of bubbly and took a million photos! That night we tried Kangaroo, very tasty, just like beef really. We spent the night sleeping in a swag under the stars, brilliant experience as the stars over here are amazing.
Next morning we were up at 4.30am to go and watch the sunrise over Uluru. Again a million pictures but im having trouble trying to upload photos so not sure when im going to be able to put any on here. We did the base walk around uluru, which is a 2 hour walk. In the afternoon we drove to a place called Kings canyon and again spent the night under the stars.
Final day of our trip we did a 3 hour walk around kings canyon, very beautiful. Best walk i have done so far. In the afternoon we drove back to alice springs and went out for dinner with our group again. Went to a cool bar called Bojangles and had a dance, finally went to bed after being awake for about 22 hours!Flying to cairns this evening.
