hello every one!! well i have been in SRI LANKA with mel and Steve it was wonderful!! they will get the photo's on site soon !! just to say thanks to you both for a fab time and putting up with the old one !!! The cats were fine when i got home and the house was imaculate!!! Thanks jess!!! ALL WAS WELL!!! have not seen any sitings as yet of the blue t***. Hope the cats are not back on top of the box!!! i am off shopping now as it is like mother hubbard in here now !!!

i have just gotten up...bit hungover, but i'll survive. got a 2:1 for last semester so am well chuffed cos i thought the exams went really badly! other exciting news is that me, mum and matt are goin 2 new york in less than 2 weeks, aaaaaaaaaargh!!! very spur of the moment trip, and whts great is that asari is out there on an internship so am going to meet up with her. more excitement, me and paul have booked a holiday to egypt in june! cant wait! just though, i probably told you all this in your bday card...oh well!! right, must go and do some work.

So glad that you are enjoying yourselves and managing to get along in crazy India! It seems ages ago that I was there and I would love to have a few of those yum scrum curries again! I am so jealous of the two of you with your sunshine and warmth as I sit here in the freezing cold all rugged up waiting for the bell to go for yet another exciting school day! It is even meant to snow tomorrow! 

I just thought I would let you know Steve that I have got onto the Speech and Language Course and will be starting back as a student in September-no more depressive chats on the train back to Upper Warlingham-I am sure you will be thankful for that at least! I am hoping to do a bit more travelling and go somewhere in the summer-there was talk of South America with Matt and a couple of other mates but nothing is definate yet! I wish you all the best and hope the Delhi Belly stays at bay for the rest of your trip! Keep safe and good luck!

Your pics are so funny, loved them!  Can't look at this messageboard from work anymore as the computer say no!  We've got web filtering or something and a message comes up saying it's unsuitable material, ha ha!  Lets me look at the pictures though and they're far more dodgy!

Hi you two. Have enjoyed looking at your pictures & reading of your latest adventures.  Will you ever come down to Earth & get a real job to keep your Mother and Aunt in their dotage. I really wish we'd had digital cameras in our days, just think of all the exciting photos we could have posted of Paignton & Brixham.  How can we possibly entertain you with our mundane goings on here!  Although I'm sure I did see a water bufalo down Peascod Street on Tuesday!  So in brief - It's a bit grey & murky today, however I have achieved some outside jobs & have walked up the Long Walk today with Sis.  Quite frankly I shall be amazed if Char & Loz pass any of their exams with their terminal procrastinationness.  I am out job hunting in earnest, need more £ and responsibility.  Course Mel is doing the same, but at a much higher level.  Loz has had a good 21st weekend & has been to see Cirque de Solei, had a family tea party & is now off to lunch to an old 'chilhood' restaurant.  I believe the drunken goings on will take place next Weds. when Char will be joining from Notts.  Stump was at Loz's tea party yesterday - she's looking OK - no need to fret.  Matt is fine, I believe he is half job hunting and has a placement somewhere next week as a trial.  Carlo finally got rid of the gypomobile last week & now has an old, but nice Rover.  Alan is not happy with the cricket & he has finally started watching BigBrother which is driving Mum mad.  Char was Godmother to Emily last week - a very nice do it was to.  Granny is Ok, still eating meat & 2 veg and not venturing out if it's cold, wet, windy or icy.  We are going to kidnap Alan next Sept and are really going to take him to EuroDisney - Mum is in denial, but we are determined to get him there.  Laurel is travelling up from Salisbury tonight to take Cherry to Wembley to see a concert, so I shall meet her up there & we can have dinner whilst waiting for the girls to come out. Evenings are slightly lighter these days and the daffs. are slowly coming out so spring is on it's way.  So envious of all your wonderful experiences - keep reporting back and take care of each other.   Love Auntie Val xxxxxxx

 

Hello everyone from India!

Oh my goodness where do we start... the first thing that hit us was the stench and the filth! This is by far the hardest place that we both have ever travelled... people hassle you constantly, you have to dodge the cow poo, piss and spit in the street just to walk anywhere and everyone wants to con you!!! But Mel is slowly getting used to the filth and Steve just finds it all hilarious but we are enjoying it!!! The fast pace of traffic is hilarious, people beep constantly and you can't go anywhere without someone saying 'look here my shop, looking is free!'.

We have seen a million temples, mosques and palaces, ridden on elephants, done a sunset camel safari in the desert, seen a Bollywood film and we are hopefully gonna get in touch with our spiritual side and try some yoga!! We are off to Goa soon to meet Joe and Paul (2 of Steve's friends) so that is when the party starts! We saw sunrise at the Taj Mahal which was such a memorable part of our time in India. The scenery is fantastic and the weather is starting to hot up so we may reclaim our tans soon!
