God I would probably die with the heat! Its a pity you had to have those guys chastised in your presence. Could she not have spoken to them herself? Great news about Carols little baby. No name for him yet. I,m sure Ryan won,t be impressed with this invasion in his life. Christmas should be a distraction for him though. I.ll be praying you will get a call tomorrow and have another golden week. Take care and keep well hydrated. Our thermostats are not used to those temperatures.
Mam
Great to get today. That only leaves Wednesday to be filled now for this week isnt it? I,m back working in Breast unit this week. So alarm at 6.30! But its fine that 5.30 is the latest I would be home instead of 7. No news here really.

Good to hear from ye Margaret and Mary. What was the award for Margaret? Sounds like u have enough of d tp Mary!! Eimh is right bout Ireland heading this way but I dunno will we go this far! There has to be an awful lot of organisation for it to work well and I know that wont happen everywhere!! Yea I'm sure ye are all counting down to the wedding- ill def be skyping for the updates!!!

Hi Lorraine!, Sorry I have n't been touch for a while but we are all T.P'd out in this house. It's an awful ordeal! Eimh got on fine for the 1st. Week but occasionally was complaining about the skin on his face tingling: When eimh talks about his skin here nobody takes much notice- by Friday, it had broken out into blisters and after much persuading, he went to the doctor to please me: he does n't believe in doctors or medication anymore. Shingles were diagnosed even though the doctor thought it unusual to have shingles on both sides. Shingles must be kept dry, so he could n't shave or have a shower and looked like a
'Fear Breige". He decided he could n't stand in front of a class in that state and had to ring the Inspector to cancel his visit on thurs. and Hibernia to say he was sick for the week- they were n't happy. From once they got his doctor's cert, they seemed to be ok: they prob. did n't believe him first. Anyway, he was back last week, still sporting a beard, but the inspector came thurs and he got on fine.
He has two more weeks and he has to do a further 3 days in lieu of the week he missed.
The next inspector's visit is unannounced and he could have a moderator at any time, so he will have to stay focused. I wish it was over and we could all get back to some normality! Enjoying reading the blogs every day- I can just picture the scene in the taxi-van and the ground not to be found! You obviously survived! I sometimes wonder what kind of schools they have in Oz: There does n't seem to be head or tail to what they are doing and the children seem to do everything but learn!
Eimhin tells me this is the model Ireland is looking at bringing in here- it can only mean chaos!. When he happy couples were away for the w/end, I bought two dresses and one was to be worn for the wedding: they were sleeveless, so i had to look for something to wear over them: I found a nice cape in Anthony Ryan's- beige with a black trim- so I will be wearing the black dress. We are all looking forward to the wedding now. Tom and I were invited to Jeffrey's sister's wedding on the same day ( no less) but obviously, we will be going to Alan's: We'll miss you for the craic but no doubt, we will be skyping all the details and the afters are the following evening in the Cortoon Inn! Hopefully, we'll be able to travel. The Postman in donegal is talking about snow, but not for Christmas. No other
news from here, I think. Tom has a maternity leave in the school starting in Jan. so, he is not looking forward to the interviews: piles of local people interested. I'll finish for now and
hopefully, it won't be as long again before I contact you. In the meantime, I wish you a wonderful xmas and a great trip to New Zealand !

Interesting that you had to travel around the world to discover that the ground is much further away when you are stepping out of a van !!! Sounds like you had a great nights crack and everyone needs a blast every now and then.
Stuart and all his friends including Dave went to Fairyhouse on a bus yesterday. They called it their Xmas party. Long day and night. They texted me numerous time to tell me they were having great crack. I texted Dave this morning saying" I hope there's as much crack this morning as there was last night"
The response was"Zero crack this morning I'm afraid"
I haven't seen Stuart yet this morning but I can smell the alcohol through the closed door of his bedroom !!! Great to be young but I reckon there will be a great run on Berocca today !!
Aiden is gone to Fairyhouse today with his friends so I am having a day off from cooking. Jenny is coming home later to collect her Xmas tree and decorations-they are here since before she went travelling. I will be glad to see the back of them.
We had a lovely day in Dublin yesterday for tge Awards presentation. We were the only school from the north-east and the only Youthreach in sight. It felt good and we were all delighted for Shauna the recipient. I was wrecked when I came home even though I was sitting all day- I hate a change in my routine. No more news for now
Mam
Sounds like somebody had a mishap with the taxi. Hope theres no serious damage! Glad ye enjoyed the night.
Margaret Mcd
Didn't know Taghdh(not sure about that spelling) was linking up with you-that should be good. Wrecked tired after being in Dublin all day-,must be getting old. Michelle had planned to call but I was away so I missed that chat. No more news for now. Talk soon
Mam
Great that Shane and Tadgh are getting to meet. Hope ye have a bit of craic for the weekend. I,m sure we,ll skype at some stage.

Laughing away about your hair dryer Margaret!!
Margaret Mcd
Hi Lorraine,
Joy strikes me as a person who would suit a Youthreach setting. She sounds like a treasure.
No news except that the hairdryer blew up on me so now I have to sit up until my hair dries. Lovely, f---ing lovely !! Talk soon
Mam
At least u know you have one day next week anyway which is good. It must be very hot. You better keep yourself well hydrated. No sca here. All work and no play for me these days! Same as yourself!
Lorglynnoz
