No major news.,went out tonight for Shane's birthday. Will update the blog tomorrow
Mam.
Thats good that you now have another option for work. Hopefully between them you will be able to keep going for another while. I presume childcare means from 6mths up. Dat could be interesting! I,m enjoying taking it easy this week on my holidays. I,ve just come home from Athleague where myself and Kathleen visited a shop called Town and Country Interiors. All lovely things there. I bought a candle! Thats all the budget would allow but you would enjoy looking at the things! Margaret would love it. I will have to bring her sometime. Chat again soon.
Mam
Sounds like you got around those kids. Maybe the principal will ask you back seeing as you didn,t run away. I,m sure the parents will be delighted that their children are spending good school time listening to an irish colleen playing the tin whistle and singing songs. They will really need that for life skills in Australia! Fair play to you! Sounds like there subjects are totally different. God help the kids in Sonna when you get back. They could have to have a debating class! Looking forward to tomorrows blog to see how you get on with the next gang. Shell is gone to Newcastle. Txt last night to say she got there safe.
Mam
Great start to the week. Was this one of the schools you called to last week? I,m sure the day passes fairly quickly even though you haven,t your own work to follow. Do they do history, geography, Science, or anything like that at all, or is it just included in the english reading of national geographic?
Had today of for Bank hol. It was great not to be getting up but I was wide awake at 5.30am!
I went to Galway for a while. Just exchanged a jeans for Dad. Imagine the Christmas stuff is all in the shops before the halloween stuff is gone. Do they have halloween over there? A lot of houses are decorated now. Much more than last year. We will soon be like the States. It didnt look like a recession in Galway today. It was very busy but i,d say it was all teenagers dossing around and not spending anything.
Hope you get another call tomorrow.

Great to hear that you have managed to get some work and found your own place. All we need now is for one of the teachers in the school to become pregnant or ill and you would have a chance to settle in one school.
I am enjoying a few days off till Thursday. I feel like Nana today because Claire and Dave have contacted me twice already today asking me to go shopping with them and about an hour ago wanted me to go for lunch with them. I said no to both offers as I just want to be left alone on my day off. It's such a luxury to be left alone to do nothing. They find it hard to understand that !! I know it would be awful if they didn't want to come near me but I had them for most of the day yesterday. Enough is enough no matter how much I love them.
Sarah and Mark should be getting their keys next Friday and be moving to Dundalk shortly after that which will be nice. I haven't seen Michelle sinc the official move but no doubt she is happily installed.
Talk soon , Margaret McD
Mam
You will have to get a zapper like mine and fry the little creatures as they come in! Its great to have got a base and the view of the river is classs. I wouldnt mind sitting at the window watching the ferries. No sca here since yesterday. We are heading to the hurling semi finals. Its raining now so hopefully it will clear or the matches will be crap. Hopefully you will get some work this week. Chat soon.
Mam
Thats great that you got today. It will be worth your while giving out the cvs i,d say. So you still have to go to all the Catholic schools so hopefully it will all come good yet! No sca here really. I have to go to a talk on Breast Cancer tonight in the Radisson. I need to go back into Galway like a hole in the head but it has to be done. Hopefully we will get to skype this Saturday.
Mam
hopefully something will come out of this homework you are doing. What nationality, age, is the guy in the house?

Dats a devil that there is still no work. We,l keep the fingers crossed and say a prayer that next week will be better. Remember Nora gave private tuition. Have a look at that. We will be heading to Dundalk tomorrow after work so I will have to get the bits ready this eve. Your walk sounds very entertaining! You better have the dinner ready for Shane and the boys tommorow or they might evict you!
